But, if you are one of those who want to pack your stuff on your own and do not want to hire services from a moving company, below are some tips to pack dishes for moving as packing dishes is the toughest job in packing or packing the entire house.

- Using lots of packing paper is the key to success when you are packing a dish box. You cannot use too much. The more paper you are using, the more protection your items have. Not only using too much paper but also you have to fill in the gaps inside the box so that they do not tend to shake during transit and your dishes will remain safe.

- Wrap each item individually with a sheet of paper you’ve bought for packing your stuff. Lay the item near the corner of a sheet of paper, and wrap diagonally, tucking in the ends of the paper as you go. This will make the packing more appropriate and also will not tend to lose the packing you’ve done.

- Once wrapped place items into the dish box in rows. Place the heaviest items on the bottom of the box and the lighter objects at the top of the box. This maintains the balance of the box and do not let the box tore off.

- Once you have filled one layer of the box, put down another layer of crumpled newsprint on top of the layer before you begin loading the next layer of the box, so that the gaps between them gets filled and they remain safe.
