The right way of packing that needs to be followed by a packer and mover
The first step to relocation starts with the right way of packing the goods. The right style and technique of packing demands both quality goods and trained professionals. Agarwal Packers & Movers is one of the leading brands in the packers and movers segment with more than 25 years of experience in their kitty. Agarwal Packers & Movers brings to you a checklist of how to pack each and every valuable item in your office and home. Packing starts with items that are not used daily like books and artifacts. Books should be placed flat in the carton, alternating the spine and open side of the book.
A piece of paper should be placed between the books so that they don’t get stuck with each other; smaller cartoons are generally used for this purpose. Artifacts and delicate items should be wrapped in bubble wrap sheets because it acts like a cushion it saves them from direct impact of a hit. After safely tucking in the books and the artifacts, it is time to pack electronic goods, furniture and glass items. Electronics should be placed in original cartoons, packing materials like bubble wrap, newsprint, foam sheeting, comforters/blankets and pillows should be used. The carton should be firmly sealed and a note should be placed on the top that says ‘Delicate Items Inside, Handle With Care’.
When electronic goods are unpacked they should be allowed to get acclamatised with the room temperature and only after that they should be plugged-in. Chairs should be stacked seat to seat. If there is room then furniture should be disassembled and then they should packed separately. The remaining furniture should be wrapped in blanket or old sheets. Mirrors should be wrapped in bubble wraps or newsprints; they should be placed in flattened packing or telescoping carton. Mirrors and glass frames should never be placed flat.
After putting in all the aforementioned items it is the turn of clothes, kitchen utensils and miscellaneous items. Clothes are kept on hangers and special boxes are used for clothes. Utensils are packed the same way as delicate artifacts are done and lastly for shoes it is always advisable to place them in their original boxes.
